At the bird clinic with Rachel Frank!

This Thursday we have a very special evening with Rachel Frank (A '05). Rachel works as a staff wildlife rehabilitator at the Wild Bird Fund, a NYC-based non-profit organization that takes in thousands of sick, injured, or orphaned birds (and other animals) each year. She will discuss the intersections between sculpture, fabrication, and wildlife rehabilitation.

Rachel will be speaking to us straight from the clinic, and her talk will include a virtual tour of the facilities at the Wild Bird Fund. We may also have the chance to meet some of the patients during clinic hours.

Afterwards...

After meeting with Rachel, we invite all attendees to share any readings, articles, tidbits, learnings, sightings, etc., of birds that they may have come across in the last few weeks. This part of the evening is informal; all manner of thoughts - fresh, new, brief, nascent, links, comments, ideas - are welcome.
